Piña Colada straight up

Piña Colada Recipe

Annu entertained us with homemade Piña Coladas. They were so good that she could have charged us and made money. The cost of the ingredients was $1.75 / drink.

Piña Colada
1.5 liters of ice cubes
400 ml crushed canned pineapple
200 ml coconut milk
150 ml Malibu coconut rum
3 tbsp sugar

a piece of fresh pineapple
2 cherries

Fill a measuring cup up to the 1.5 liter mark with ice cubes. Crush the ice in a blender and add the rest of the ingredients. Give it a good blend. Garnish glass with pineapple and cherries. We didn’t have any fresh pineapple so we garnished it with peach.

My verdict: I like cheap and fresh drinks.

  1. Hi! I’m enjoying reading your blog. Will you be posting any recipes, in the near future? As a vegetarian I’m always looking for traditional Indian recipes with a twist. I would love to see some topsy turvey Indian recipes on your blog.
